Welcome to Ailtire. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Ailtire website, platform, web application, and any related services, features, content, or materials provided by Ailtire (together, the “Service”).

By accessing the website, creating an account, or using any part of the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Service.

1. The Service

Ailtire provides a software platform intended to support threat modelling and security-by-design activities. The Service is provided for professional and business use only. We may modify, update, or discontinue parts of the Service from time to time. We do not guarantee that any particular feature or functionality will always be available.

2. Accounts and Access

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities carried out under your account. Access to projects, data, and features may be restricted based on user roles, permissions, or subscription level. You agree not to attempt to bypass or interfere with access controls, role-based permissions, or security mechanisms.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service lawfully and responsibly. You must not:

• misuse or interfere with the operation of the Service
• attempt to access systems, data, or projects you are not authorised to access
• upload malicious code or content
• use the Service in a way that infringes the rights of others

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.

4. Customer Content

You retain ownership of any content, data, or materials you upload to the Service (“Customer Content”). By using the Service, you grant Ailtire a limited, non-exclusive right to process Customer Content solely as necessary to provide the Service. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to upload and use any Customer Content and that it complies with applicable laws.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all software, designs, text, graphics, logos, and underlying technology, is owned by or licensed to Ailtire and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted under these Terms, you may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the Service.

6. No Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ailtire makes no warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted or error-free availability. The Service is intended to support security and risk decision-making but does not guarantee the identification of all threats, vulnerabilities, or risks.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ailtire shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Ailtire’s total liability under these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you breach these Terms or if required by law.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
